Poinciana graduate Mike Edwards came up one centimeter short of his goal of representing Great Britain in the high jump at the World Junior Track and Field Championships next month in Poland.
Edwards, who signed with Alabama, leaped 214 centimeters (a little more than 7 feet). He needed to leap 215 centimeters.

Holy Moly!!! In the 1st quarter of 2007 Avatar, the developer of Poinciana, sold 230 homes. This year for the same period they sold 65!!! That's a decrease of 72%.
